I recently saw a young woman with hx of headaches during first trimester of pregnancy that improved later who now presents with pain along the left upper jaw and under her cheek, lasting for 2-3 days at a time with some nausea but no other migraninous or autonomic features. She had extensive dental work up to rule out dental issues. Feels like a pressure and not electrical. She is planning a pregnancy in a few months, would you try one of the new cGRP abortive to see if it is a migraine vs TN?
